“What is going on with me this year?” is a perfectly sufficient astrological question. You do not need to know which is your seventh house or which planet squares which. That is the Celestial Teacher’s job.
You ask about love, work, money, a move, an important period or a decision. The answer uses your birth chart and the sky right now, and depending on the question it draws on transits, the solar return, ingresses, nakshatras, the card of the week and astrocartography.
Astrology then stops being “Virgos should watch their paperwork today” and starts speaking about your chart, your period and your question.
