Which Old Echo Is Calling in Your Life?

You send a message. No reply. An hour later you’ve already gone through three versions of the conversation, two explanations of why the person is silent and one almost-finished decision about how you’ll act when they finally write. Another day someone gets praise, a job, attention or an opportunity, and supposedly everything is fine, except that something inside stings. Or you say “it doesn’t matter,” end the conversation, and half an hour later you know exactly why it actually did matter. The strange thing is that the trigger is often small, while the reaction arrives with luggage that looks a good deal older.

That is what the Old Echo is about. A situation today can touch an experience that passed long ago but left behind its own way of expecting, protecting ourselves, comparing, waiting, keeping quiet or coping alone.
