Egyptian Tarot — Luxury Edition

The Egyptian Tarot is an invitation into one of the oldest and most enigmatic spiritual traditions to have reached the modern world. In this striking deck, the mysticism of ancient Egypt interweaves with the symbolism of the Waite and Marseille systems, creating a rich esoteric experience filled with signs, archetypes, and timeless wisdom.

Author Silvana Alasia, together with artist Maurice Otto Wegnar, recreate the atmosphere of temples, priests, and the mysteries of an ancient civilisation through detailed and evocative illustrations. Every card carries the feeling of being part of an ancient ritual, where symbols speak the language of intuition.

The deck is inspired by the Tarot created by the renowned French occultist Jean-Baptiste Pitois, known by the pen name Paul Christian, who in the 19th century developed the theory that the origins of Tarot trace back to the legendary Book of Thoth — a mythic source of knowledge said to contain the secrets of Egyptian magic, initiation, and spiritual development. It is precisely this idea that makes the Egyptian Tarot one of the most recognisable occult traditions in the world.

The history of the deck is also closely linked to the work of René Falconnier, The Twenty-Two Hermetic Leaves of the Divine Tarot, published in 1896, in which the images of the Major Arcana appeared in this distinctive Egyptian style for the very first time. In this way, the deck becomes a bridge between ancient symbolism and the modern understanding of Tarot.

Thanks to its blended tradition, the Egyptian Tarot is suited both to those who already work with the Waite or Marseille systems and to anyone who wishes to immerse themselves in the deeper layers of occultism, ancient Egyptian philosophy, and esoteric knowledge. This is not simply a deck for readings — it is a journey into a world where every card reveals a fragment of the mysteries that have inspired generations of seekers of hidden wisdom.
