Notoria: Tarot in Light is a remarkable artistic masterpiece by Fabio Listrani, the creator of the celebrated Night Sun Tarot and Goetia: Tarot in Darkness. Inspired by Ars Notoria – the fifth book of the ancient grimoire Lemegeton (The Lesser Key of Solomon) – this deck explores the opposite pole of darkness, guiding us into the realm of light, angels, spiritual knowledge, and inner awakening.
Where Goetia teaches us to embrace our inner demons, Notoria shows us the path to our higher self. Each card depicts one of the angels described in Ars Notoria, ancient Christian and Jewish tradition, and the Kabbalistic tradition of Shem HaMephorash. The arcana are not merely symbols of the future – they are spiritual portals pointing toward truth, wisdom, and inner transformation.
The deck is built upon the esoteric principles of alchemy, Kabbalah, and the Western mystical tradition. White, gold, red, and black were not chosen at random – each carries its own alchemical meaning and reflects a different stage of spiritual purification and enlightenment. Thanks to a special metallic gold card stock, printed with five-colour technology and laminated for an exceptional finish, every card shines with a unique brilliance that underscores the symbolism of light.
Notoria: Tarot in Light can be used entirely on its own, yet it was also conceived as a philosophical and symbolic mirror to Goetia: Tarot in Darkness. Together, the two decks embody the eternal balance between light and darkness, spirit and matter, consciousness and shadow. Every card carries rich esoteric knowledge, enabling work on both a psychological and a deeply spiritual level.
This is a deck for those who seek more than traditional tarot – a tool for inner transformation, philosophical reflection, and spiritual growth. By uniting the ancient mysteries of the Solomonic grimoires with the contemporary art of Fabio Listrani, Notoria: Tarot in Light stands among the most impressive occult decks of our time.
