Some decks give answers. Others change the way we see the world. The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit is very much the latter. Created by world-renowned artist and author Kim Krans, this oracle reaches beyond traditional divination, turning every card into an encounter with the power of nature, intuition, and inner wisdom.
Each animal in the deck carries its own archetype, energy, and spiritual message. It is not merely a symbol, but a living image of qualities that already exist within you or are waiting to be awakened. The fox speaks of intuition, the snake of transformation, the wolf of the inner guide, and the deer of tenderness and strength at once. These images become a bridge between the conscious and the subconscious, helping you understand yourself and what is unfolding around you more deeply.
Inspired by Jungian psychology and ancient spiritual traditions, The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit regards every living being as a manifestation of universal energy. The deck teaches us to find the sacred in the everyday, to embrace change with calm, and to see meaning even in the smallest signs that life sends our way.
The oracle is divided into five elements – Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Ether. The final seven cards belong to the Ether element and are connected to the human chakras, directing attention toward energetic processes, spiritual growth, and the areas of life that call for harmony and healing.
The distinctive black-and-white style with fine detail and minimalist colour accents makes each card a true work of art. It is precisely this recognisable aesthetic that has made Kim Krans's creations some of the most beloved and sought-after contemporary esoteric decks in the world.
The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. It can be used for daily messages, spiritual practice, meditation, psychological work, personal development, and deep intuitive spreads. This is not just a set of cards – it is a journey into your own inner nature.
