The Tarot of Shadows (Shadow Tarot) is an independent creator deck made for those who are not afraid to look beyond the obvious and come face to face with their own shadow. This is not a traditional Tarot that offers easy answers or comforting messages. It reveals hidden motives, inner conflicts, suppressed emotions, and unconscious patterns that shape our lives. That is precisely why Shadow Tarot is a favoured choice among tarot readers who seek depth, psychological precision, and genuine self-knowledge.
Created by the well-known Russian tarot author S.K. (Svetlana), the deck leads into those parts of the personality that so often stay hidden behind fears, masks, and everyday roles. Each card is an invitation to look beneath the surface and understand the true cause behind a given situation. Rather than predicting future events alone, the Tarot of Shadows helps bring to light the inner processes that create them.
The dark, mystical imagery of the cards is not merely an artistic choice — it is part of their philosophy. Every illustration is layered with symbolism that speaks directly to the subconscious and awakens intuitive perception. The deck works exceptionally well for psychological analysis, spiritual work, shadow exploration, magical practice, and complex life questions where traditional decks do not always reveal the full picture.
Shadow Tarot is intended primarily for those who already have experience with Tarot or who prefer an intuitive approach to reading. The set does not include a printed guidebook, which encourages the practitioner to build their own relationship with the symbols and trust their inner sense. This is precisely what makes the deck a powerful tool for developing intuition and deepening a tarot practice.
If you are looking for a deck that will not hide the truth behind pretty words, but will help you understand your own fears, limitations, and hidden potential, the Tarot of Shadows (Shadow Tarot) will become a valuable ally on the path to self-knowledge. This is a rare independent deck that combines a strong psychological focus, occult symbolism, and an exceptionally compelling atmosphere.
