Tarot of Masks and Misfortunes is an extraordinary independent deck that weaves the mystical symbolism of Rider-Waite Tarot together with the vibrant world of Commedia dell'Arte – the legendary Italian theatre of masks, archetypes, and timeless human stories. This is a deck that reminds us that every person wears many faces throughout life, and behind every mask lie true feelings, desires, fears, and fate.
Inspired by the classic theatrical characters, Tarot of Masks and Misfortunes presents the familiar arcana through rich, dramatic imagery filled with symbolism and philosophical depth. Masks do not conceal the truth – they reveal it. They show the roles we play before the world, our inner contradictions, and the lessons life places before us. This is precisely why this deck is exceptionally well suited to psychological analysis, self-discovery, and work with the deeper layers of the human personality.
The cards follow the Waite system, making them easy to use for experienced tarot readers and those already familiar with classic tarot alike. At the same time, the artistic design, theatrical atmosphere, and cosmic motifs lend every reading a unique sense of magic, imagination, and spiritual depth.
Tarot of Masks and Misfortunes is created for those who love beautiful, independently crafted decks and seek a different perspective on traditional symbolism. It helps uncover the hidden motives behind human actions, understand the life patterns we repeat, and look beyond outward roles to the true essence of a person. Every card becomes a scene, and every reading a theatrical story in which the main character is always you.
Whether you use the deck for daily readings, spiritual growth, or in-depth psychological exploration, Tarot of Masks and Misfortunes offers an original, artistic, and inspiring way to connect with the cards. It is a deck that unites theatre, philosophy, mysticism, and art into one unforgettable tarot experience.
