The Steampunk Tarot is a stunning deck by Barbara Moore, with breathtaking illustrations by Aly Fell, that transports the classic Waite system into an extraordinary world where the Victorian era meets the fantastical technology of steampunk. This is a universe where steam engines, cogs, and mechanical inventions intertwine with alchemy, romance, and the timeless symbols of Tarot.
Every card is rendered with rich detail and striking artistic compositions in which humanity and machine coexist in perfect harmony. Past and future meet in an alternate world where science and mysticism do not contradict each other, but complement one another. It is precisely this singular atmosphere that has made The Steampunk Tarot one of the most beloved contemporary decks among fans of steampunk culture and symbolic Tarot.
While it follows the Rider-Waite tradition, the deck offers a completely fresh visual interpretation of both the Major and Minor Arcana. Each image carries rich symbolism that encourages intuitive reading and allows for in-depth exploration of life situations, relationships, and personal growth.
The set also includes a substantial 312-page book in English, written by Barbara Moore, which covers the meaning of every card, the symbolism within each image, and various approaches to working with the deck. This makes The Steampunk Tarot an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced tarot readers who appreciate beautiful artwork, layered symbolism, and a fresh perspective on the classic Waite system.
