Deviant Moon Tarot – Tarot of the Deviant Moon

Deviant Moon Tarot is like no other deck. From the very first card it becomes clear that this is not a Tarot that will lead you down familiar paths. It invites you to cross the boundary between the conscious and the subconscious, between reality and dream, between light and your own shadow.

Patrick Valenza creates a world that simultaneously unsettles and enchants. Inspired by old cemeteries, abandoned psychiatric hospitals and Victorian architecture, he transforms real photographs into surrealist images filled with emotion, symbolism and psychological depth. Every card looks like a scene from an extraordinary dream in which nothing is left to chance.

Although the imagery may appear dark at first glance, an exceptionally powerful language of archetypes lies beneath the surface. Deviant Moon Tarot does not frighten – it reveals. It helps to illuminate those parts of the self that often remain hidden, suppressed or misunderstood. That is precisely why the deck is favoured by tarot readers, psychologists, creatives and anyone seeking deeper self-knowledge.

Working with this deck is like a conversation with your own subconscious. Each Arcana poses questions we would rarely ask ourselves and uncovers truths that often hide behind everyday masks. This is why Deviant Moon Tarot is especially valued for psychological analysis, spiritual exploration and readings centred on inner transformation.

Over the years the deck has become a true legend, rightfully earning its place among the most recognised and beloved tarot decks in the world. Its unique artistic vision and unmistakable style make it instantly recognisable, and the power of its symbols continues to impress beginners and professional tarot readers alike.
