This Tarot is suitable for both beginners and experienced tarot readers.
The deck features predominantly black cats, although there are also 2 white ones. These cats have a purpose of their own — they do not change the meaning of the deck, but only complement and reveal it.
The black cat is an ancient symbol of communication with the other world — beloved by witches and wizards. There is something mystical about black cats: they connect two worlds and see both at once, ours and the delicate world of spirits. And millions of people around the planet hold a special love for this particular colour within the cat family.
The cats on the cards are intentionally given human character and a humanoid body structure, yet they have not lost their animal nature — it will help you interpret the arcana and connect them to a person and their life.
The guiding principle for working with this deck is intuitive feeling, which is quite simple once you try it. There are no special rules for using this deck. It is enough to tune in, then move into a reading with your favourite spreads and a completely spontaneous draw of cards toward the question at hand.
These black cats will delight you, become a trusted advisor, and help you understand yourself and your life's questions time and again!
The author and creator of the deck is artist and mystic tarotist Maria Kurara.
