Some decks impress with their symbolism. Others captivate at first glance. Pre-Raphaelite Tarot belongs firmly in the latter category – an exquisite deck where the classic Waite system meets the romance, refinement, and incomparable beauty of Pre-Raphaelite art.
Giuliano Costa, well known to tarot lovers for his exceptional artistic talent, creates a world inspired by the English Pre-Raphaelites – painters who elevated beauty, nature, and human emotion into true art. Every card is filled with delicate colours, noble figures, and fine details that transform each reading into a genuine visual experience.
Though the artistic style is distinct, the deck remains faithful to the Waite tradition. The familiar Arcana are rendered with full respect for their original symbolism, making Pre-Raphaelite Tarot equally suited to learning and professional practice. The beautiful imagery supports intuitive reading and invites the reader to discover new nuances in every card.
Inspired by the Renaissance era and the ideals of the Pre-Raphaelite movement, this deck carries a feeling of harmony, purity, and spiritual inspiration. The female figures radiate both tenderness and strength, nature appears as a living symbol of change, and the light and colours turn every card into a small work of art.
Pre-Raphaelite Tarot is a deck for those who seek not only insightful readings, but beauty in every detail. It blends artistic excellence, classical symbolism, and depth of meaning – making it a true gem for collectors and tarot lovers alike.
