Starman Tarot is one of the most iconic original decks in contemporary Tarot, created by David Bowie and the artist Davide De Angelis. Born from their long-standing creative collaboration, it combines esoteric symbolism, surrealist art and philosophical reflection on the nature of reality.
Davide De Angelis himself describes the deck as an unexpected continuation of his work with David Bowie. Their shared desire to explore human consciousness, imagination and the hidden layers of the world grew into a rich visual system that Bowie called “visual alchemy”. Each card is built as a work of art in its own right, filled with symbols that reveal new meanings with every reading.
Although it rests on the traditional archetypes of Tarot, Starman Tarot builds its own symbolic universe. The deck offers a different view of the Major and Minor Arcana and encourages intuitive reading, inner exploration and spiritual growth. Thanks to its original vision, it is treasured by practising tarot readers as well as by collectors and fans of David Bowie’s work.
The edition includes 78 cards and a detailed 192-page book in English that reveals the ideas and symbolism behind each card. It is a deck that impresses not only with its artistic value but also with the depth of its messages.
