Deviant Moon Tarot is one of the most recognisable and powerful decks in the history of modern Tarot. This complete set includes 78 cards and a book in Russian, making it an excellent choice for collectors and for anyone who wants to explore the extraordinary world of this legendary deck more deeply.
Created entirely by Patrick Valenza, the deck impresses with its wholly unique surrealist style. The artist worked from processed photographs of old gravestones, cemeteries and abandoned psychiatric hospitals, transforming them into the distinctive figures, architecture and fantastical settings that have made Deviant Moon Tarot a worldwide phenomenon.
Every Arcana looks like a scene from a dream where reality and imagination intertwine. The twisted silhouettes, enigmatic faces and lunar atmosphere are not designed to frighten, but to reach the deepest layers of the human psyche. This is precisely why the deck is especially valued for psychological readings, Shadow work and exploration of the unconscious.
Despite its unconventional artistic style, Deviant Moon Tarot is exceptionally practical to work with. The symbolism is clear and intuitive, allowing for accurate, profound and memorable readings. It is no coincidence that for nearly three decades this deck has remained among the most beloved and best-selling author tarot decks in the world.
This complete set with a book offers the opportunity not only to work with the cards, but to go deeper into their meanings and symbolism. It is well suited to lovers of gothic aesthetics and surrealism, as well as any tarot reader seeking a different, deeply evocative and psychologically rich deck.
