Tarot Lenormand is one of those rare decks that manage to build a bridge between different esoteric traditions without losing their own identity. Created in honour of the legendary seer Marie Lenormand, it is not the classic Lenormand oracle but a full Tarot deck built on the Waite system. It is precisely this combination that makes the deck an exceptionally interesting choice both for lovers of traditional Tarot and for everyone who works with Lenormand, Sibilla, Gypsy oracles and other cartomancy systems.
From the very first glance the cards impress with their elegance, softness and expressive symbolism. The artists Ernest Fitzpatrick and Alma De Angelis create a world in which every image looks natural and easy to take in, yet behind its apparent simplicity lie many subtle signs and details. It is these small symbols that turn the deck into a powerful tool for experienced readers who know how to spot the hidden messages between individual cards and build remarkably accurate interpretations.
Tarot Lenormand combines the archetypal depth of Tarot with the practicality and concreteness typical of the French school of cartomancy. That is why the deck is equally suited to the daily "Card of the Day" and to love, financial, career and spiritual spreads. It gives clear guidance in everyday life while also revealing the deeper causes of events, hidden patterns of behaviour and the direction in which destiny is unfolding.
Especially valuable is the included 272-page book in Russian written by Elena Ledney. This is not just a guide with short card meanings but a serious work that looks at the story of Marie Lenormand, the development of cartomancy in France in the 18th and 19th centuries and the links between different divination systems. Besides detailed interpretations, readers will find historical facts, practical examples and guidance that enrich their understanding of Tarot as well as of the traditions of Lenormand, Sibilla, Gypsy cards and other classic European oracles.
Whether you are a beginner looking for your first serious deck or an experienced practitioner wishing to broaden your view of the symbols, Tarot Lenormand offers an exceptionally rich experience. It is a deck that does not simply predict the future but teaches you to see the connections between events, understand the reasons behind choices and discover the deeper meaning of life's paths.
