Runic Tarot – Original Deck

Runic Tarot is a remarkable deck that unites two of the oldest spiritual traditions of Northern Europe – the mystical symbolism of the runes and the timeless wisdom of Tarot. Created by Jack Sephiroth, Gian Cao, and Jamie Elford, this striking deck draws you into the world of Norse mythology, where gods, heroes, ancient runes, and the legends of Odin, Valhalla, and Yggdrasil come alive through the language of the cards.

At the heart of Runic Tarot lies the idea that within every person there is a divine spark – an inner power that can be uncovered through knowledge, intuition, and spiritual growth. Inspired by ancient sagas, skaldic poetry, and the runic tradition, the deck does not merely retell stories from Norse mythology; it uses their archetypes to help you understand your own life trials, choices, and destiny.

While following the structure of Rider-Waite, Runic Tarot offers an entirely original world of symbols. Every arcana is filled with references to runic signs, northern gods, and the legendary heroes of Asgard. This gives the deck exceptional depth and makes it suitable for classic tarot spreads as well as intuitive work, meditation, and spiritual exploration of the bond between humanity and ancient Norse wisdom.

The illustrations are captivating in their atmosphere, richness of detail, and sense of epic grandeur. Majestic warriors, gods, runic symbols, and mythical beings build a world in which every card carries a feeling of strength, honour, fate, and inner transformation. This is a deck that speaks equally well to tarot enthusiasts and to those who study the runes and Norse mythology.

The set includes a detailed guidebook written by American author Jamie Elford, featuring colour illustrations and in-depth explanations of each card's meaning. Thanks to the guidebook, both beginners and experienced tarot readers can more easily explore the deck's symbolism and draw the most from its messages.

Runic Tarot is a magnificent choice for anyone who feels a strong connection to the northern traditions, the runes, and the world of the Vikings. This is a deck that not only illuminates possible paths of fate, but inspires you to discover your own inner strength, trust your intuition, and walk boldly along your spiritual path.
