This journal is dedicated to Wicca. The foundation of this magical teaching is reverence for nature, as well as for natural phenomena, plants and animals. Those who practise Wicca are convinced that the change of seasons is no accident of nature: every season, every month brings its own lessons to people. Have you ever wondered why in spring we want to start a new life, in summer we want to spend as little time at home as possible, and in winter, on the contrary, we want to spend more time with family and friends?.. Nature is wise and gives us what we need at this moment in our lives.
This journal will be an excellent tool for attuning yourself to nature and its rhythms. In it you will find many tasks, rituals, magical practices and Wiccan rites. The practices suggested in the book will take you no more than 20–30 minutes a day – so even busy people can work with this journal! Thanks to it you will get the boost of strength, joy and energy you need, you will start using your time as productively as possible – and you will be inspired to become closer to nature. The journal is designed for repeated use: you can come back to it again and again, year after year. And remember: there are no strict rules in Wicca! You can start on any day, because the year "turns", coming back round to the beginning.
Inside you will find stunningly beautiful drawings and illustrations made by the author. Every page of the book has been individually designed.
What this book is about
"Wicca: Book of Shadows" is not an ordinary daily planner – here the month does not end on the 30th, and the number of days in each season is different! Do not be surprised, because the book is based on the Wheel of the Year. Each day of this unusual calendar journal is filled with interesting information and magical lessons. The list of practices includes "magic days" and "task days" interspersed with "rest days" – this is necessary so that you do not lose the balance between spirituality and physical reality, because Wicca is the path of balance and harmony. And at the end of the year you will hold in your hands a book with no free space left: covered in notes, painted with paints and wax, decorated with pressed flowers and photos, sewn with thread... It will be that very concentrate of magical energies that you can always turn to and ask for help.
