The Rune Cards were created by Ralph Blum, one of the most popular contemporary authors associated with the study and use of the Norse runes. The illustrations are the work of Jane Walmsley, and they transform each runic symbol into a standalone image that helps its meaning be understood not only as a symbol, but as a message.
The set contains 25 cards, each dedicated to an individual rune. The cards feature the runic sign alongside a visual interpretation of its meaning, making them more intuitive to work with and suitable for both experienced practitioners and beginners.
A guidebook in English is included, in which Ralph Blum explores the meanings of the runes, ways of working with them, and various methods for drawing and interpretation. The set can be used for daily guidance, for questions relating to love, relationships, work, decisions and personal path, as well as for a deeper study of runic symbolism.
The Rune Cards combine the ancient Norse tradition with the convenience of a card format and are a fitting choice for those who wish to work with runes but prefer a format close to oracle and tarot cards.
