Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot – Tarot of Madame Fortune

Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot by Paul Huson is a deck that brings together two of the most influential traditions in the history of European Tarot – the elegant symbolism of the Marseille Tarot and the groundbreaking ideas of Etteilla, the first author to dedicate his life to the systematic study and interpretation of the cards. The result is a unique deck that both honours the centuries-old roots of Tarot and offers a fresh, deeper perspective on its symbolism.

Paul Huson is one of the most respected names in contemporary esoteric literature. A researcher, occultist, and author of numerous books on Tarot, magic, and the Western mystical tradition, he spent years studying historical decks and their development. In creating Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot, Huson does not simply reproduce the old imagery – he reinterprets and refines it, combining historical authenticity with a clear and practical system for modern reading.

The artwork carries the spirit of the classic European decks. The lines are clean, the symbols are rich, and the compositions preserve the unmistakable feeling of ancient Tarot that has inspired mystics, diviners, and students of the human soul for centuries. At the same time, each card is filled with additional details that make meanings easier to read and spreads more intuitive and precise.

One of the greatest strengths of this deck is the way it unites two distinct philosophies. From the Marseille tradition it inherits rich symbolism and historical authenticity, while from Etteilla it draws a drive toward more concrete and practical interpretations. This makes it exceptionally well suited to both classic divinatory spreads and in-depth psychological analysis, spiritual development, and the study of Tarot history.

Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot is a wonderful choice for collectors and lovers of historical decks alike, as well as for practising tarot readers who wish to connect with the roots of the European tarot tradition. It offers the opportunity to work with a system that bridges past and present, classic and innovative, tradition and practice.

If you are looking for a deck with historical value, rich symbolism, and an authored interpretation of classic Tarot, Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot stands among the most compelling contemporary interpretations of the Marseille school. This is a deck that rightfully earns a place both in every collector's collection and on every serious tarot reader's working table.
