Black Grimoire Tarot — Dark Grimoire Tarot

Necronomicon Tarot – Black Grimoire is one of the most striking gothic decks in contemporary Tarot, created by Piero Alligo, Riccardo Minetti and the artist Michele Penco. Inspired by the legends of the Necronomicon, ancient grimoires and the world of mystical literature, this deck becomes a symbolic key to the deepest layers of the human subconscious.

At the heart of the Black Grimoire Tarot lies the idea that our greatest fears are not outside us, but in our own soul. The Arcana do not simply predict the future – they reveal hidden motives, inner conflicts, suppressed desires and the shadow aspects of the personality. That is why the deck is seen as a kind of “black grimoire” – a book of symbols that helps us understand our own nature and turn fear into awareness.

The visual world of Michele Penco is at once beautiful, unsettling and hypnotic. Inspired by ancient grimoires, nightmares, mystical rituals and the works of H. P. Lovecraft, he creates images that feel like dreams full of secret signs and archetypal messages. Each card invites deep meditation and gradually reveals new meanings with every reading.

Necronomicon Tarot – Black Grimoire is a deck for people who are not afraid to look beyond the visible. It is a tool for psychological work, self-knowledge and spiritual growth that reminds us that only when we embrace our shadow can we truly discover our own light.
