The Sacred Web Tarot
There are decks that predict the future. There are decks that help us understand the present. The Sacred Web Tarot does something even deeper – it reminds us that we have never been separate from one another. That every encounter, every experience and every emotion is a thread in one great sacred web that connects all living beings.
Created by Jannie Bui Brown and magnificently illustrated by James W. Brown IV, this striking deck is a true labour of love, born after a severe life trial – the artist's life-threatening brain injury. This is exactly what makes The Sacred Web Tarot much more than a beautiful deck – it is a story of the strength of the spirit, healing and hope.
Inspired by the aesthetics of The Wild Unknown, the deck offers a completely new reading of traditional Tarot. Here the limitations of gender and familiar interpretations fall away, and in their place comes a universal language of compassion, mindfulness and personal growth. Each card is an invitation to embrace your life path with love, to see challenges as opportunities for growth and to discover the connection between yourself, nature and the Cosmos.
The richly illustrated guidebook expands the meaning of each card through links to gemstones and crystals, numerology, astrology, yoga poses, mudras and sacred mantras. The additional 79th bonus card, "Sacred Cosmic Self", turns the deck into a unique spiritual experience that goes beyond the traditional framework of Tarot.
The Sacred Web Tarot is suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners seeking a deeper connection with their own intuition. It is a deck for meditation, spiritual practice, psychological analysis and daily spreads that gently encourages self-love, inner healing and the realisation that every being is an irreplaceable part of the great sacred web of life.
