Puppet Theatre Tarot – Tarot Theater of Puppets

Tarot "Theater of Puppets" is one of the most original decks by Maria Kurara, created as a deep exploration of human nature, life roles and the mechanisms that drive fate. Work on the deck began in early 2013, and after a long creative process it was completed and printed in a limited author's edition of just 100 copies.

According to the author herself, the idea behind the project is to reveal the structure of Tarot in a more accessible way and make this ancient system more understandable for a wider audience. That is why she chose the image of the theatre, in which the puppet becomes a symbol of the human being, and the invisible creator — the force that drives our life, choices and experiences.

The deck contains 80 cards, two of which are intentionally blank and can find their own use in a reader's practice. In addition to the Major and Minor Arcana, the court cards are also included, and the Minor Arcana are developed entirely through imagery and narrative scenes. Maria Kurara presents the development of each element as an independent process, while at the same time tracing the connections and parallels between all the energies within the deck.

This transforms "Theater of Puppets" from a simple divination tool into a system for psychological analysis, self-discovery and understanding of inner processes. Each card looks like a scene from a theatrical production, in which heroes, masks and symbols tell a story about human choices, fears, hopes and spiritual growth.

The author's concept, the distinctive artistic approach and the carefully crafted symbolism make this deck valuable both for collectors and for tarot readers who seek a different perspective on the classical principles of Tarot.
